Label properties
You can set the label phisical and printing properties at creation time or you can resize an already designed label.
To modify label properties select the menu Label ->
Properties....
You get the dialog window:
You get two tabs the first is for the phisical dimension of the label, the second is for the printing properties.
The Dimension tab fields are:
- Label name: to set the name of the label
- Label width: to set the width of the printable area of the label
- Label height: to set the height of the printable area of the label
- Gap between labels: to set the space between one label and the next
- Support type: to set the type of support you want to use
- tape to print on continuos paper support (no label gap))
- marked transparent labels to print on transparent support with label sinchronized ty a black mark
- normal labels (opaque liner) to print labels with opaque liner support
- normal labels preprinted to print labels with a printing area not clear
The Print tab fields are:
- Printing speed: to set the printing speed of current label. The default the speed is set to the speed of the currently selected printer
- Number of tracks: to set the number of labels per row on your liner
- Tracks gap: to set the space between one track an the other
- Label printing direction: you can set the orientation of the printing label:
- top to bottom
- bottom to top
- rotate 90 deg.
- rotate 270 deg.
- Label printing mode: you can print in black on white or viceversa in white on black
- normal
- inverted (note: slow down the printer and decrease the power to get printing edges as sharper as possible)
After you input all the values press
OK button.
